Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Revotion interior-design marketplace, including the website at revotion.me and the Revotion mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Elie Rached ("Revotion", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility & Account
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 16 years old to use the Service in the European Economic Area. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms.
3. Platform Role
Revotion is a marketplace that connects three groups of users: clients who are shopping for interior-design products and services; galleries that list furniture, lighting, and home-decor products for sale; and architects who offer design consultations. Revotion is not a party to any transaction between galleries and clients, or between architects and clients, and is not a merchant of record for product sales unless explicitly stated at checkout. Galleries are the sellers of their listed products; architects are independent contractors providing their own services.
4. Orders, Payments, and Refunds
- Payments for products and consultations are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). Card data is handled directly by Stripe and never touches Revotion's servers.
- Gallery-specific refund and return policies are shown on each product page. In the absence of a gallery-specific policy, the default policy is no refunds once a product has shipped, and full refunds on cancellation before shipment.
- Architect consultation fees are refundable if the architect cancels or fails to attend. If the client cancels with less than 24 hours notice, the architect may retain a 50% cancellation fee.
- Disputes about a specific order should first be raised with the selling gallery or booking architect. If the issue is not resolved, contact Revotion support and we will assist in good faith.
5. Gallery & Seller Terms
Galleries listing products on Revotion agree to: (a) have the legal right to sell everything they list, (b) not infringe third-party intellectual property, (c) fulfill orders in the stated timeframe, (d) provide accurate product descriptions and images, and (e) pay Revotion's commission as disclosed on the galleries pricing page. Gallery accounts that repeatedly fail to ship, deliver damaged goods, or infringe IP may be suspended or removed.
6. Architect Terms
Architects providing consultations on Revotion are independent professionals. They agree to: (a) hold any required professional qualifications for the services they offer, (b) deliver consultations in the scheduled time slot, (c) keep client information confidential, and (d) handle work-product ownership as agreed directly with each client.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activity.
- Upload content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or that infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Use automated scripts or scrapers to collect content from the Service without our written permission.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
- Abuse promotional credits, referral programs, or gift cards.
8. User Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service (product photos, messages, room photos for visual search, etc.). By uploading content you grant Revotion a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to grant this license.
"Revotion", the Revotion logo, and all related marks are the property of Elie Rached. You may not use them without prior written permission except to link to the Service.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revotion disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Revotion's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to Revotion in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater. Revotion is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably suspect fraudulent or abusive activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, though certain provisions (disputes, IP, liability) survive.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon. If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in these Terms overrides those mandatory rights.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email to the account's primary address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
